SEALECK AND MONARCH COME TOGETHER AS ARA MANUFACTURE
The Sealeck Group and Monarch Doors both have over thirty years’ experience in the production of door and window systems. As of January 1st 2014, these two companies (including the Renlita Overhead Doors product range) have pooled their resources and come together under the banner of ARA Manufacture.
The merger was undertaken to streamline and consolidate both businesses. Since Sealeck and Monarch manufacture complementary products, the decision was made to merge the organisations. In doing so, the new combined organisation has become more efficient and increased business for both companies through cross-selling.
Trading as ARA Manufacture, the company is pleased to keep Sealeck, Renlita and Monarch as the product names of their metal-clad doors, overhead doors and retail doors, respectively. ARA Manufacture now operates from a Sydney office for sales, administration and small-scale manufacturing, and a large factory in Adelaide that manufactures the core line of retail and large overhead doors.
This restructure has already proven effective, as ARA Manufacture has since been involved in projects that would have previously required the services of both Sealeck and Monarch. One such collaborative project is underway at the HMAS Albatross, an airfield in Nowra operated by the Royal Australian Navy.
ARA Manufacture are currently installing three different sizes of Renlita bi-fold doors with Sealeck metal frames. The doors, commissioned for the airfield’s helicopter hangars, range from 5.2 metres to 19.8 metres in width and are equipped with full electronics, automated levers, windows and personal access doors.
Before the merger, a collaborative project of this nature would have been significantly more difficult, but with Renlita and Sealeck under the same roof, the entire process is expedited. ARA Manufacture are thrilled with the results of the merger, and will continue to streamline and grow their business as they move into the future.
