ARA FIRE TEES OFF FOR CHARITY AT WESTFIELD COMMUNITY GOLF DAY

On May 22nd, ARA Fire staff members Ashley Knapp, Shane Bowbridge, Andy Thomas, and Leigh Horton all turned up to the inaugural Westfield Community Golf Day to hit a hole-in-one for charity – or, at least, to try their hardest!

As a long-time partner of Westfield, ARA Fire was invited to sponsor a hole at the fundraising event held at Joondalup Resort in Perth. The event saw employees from a number of Australian companies working together to have some fun and raise money for an incredible cause. Over a sunny day of golfing and novelty events, $110,000 was raised for Therapy Focus.

Therapy Focus is a charitable organisation that works closely with schools, workplaces, and families throughout Western Australia. The staff at Therapy Focus provide a comprehensive therapy service for children and adults with disabilities, helping them to live life to the fullest. The $110,000 raised at the Westfield Community Golf Day will be spent on a state-of-the-art mobile therapy clinic that will bring Therapy Focus’ service to those in rural areas.

The ARA Group has always held the belief that Australian businesses have an obligation to improve the communities in which they work and live, and are proud to support the outstanding work of Therapy Focus.
