ARA in The Community

The ARA Endowment Fund

Over the past 14 years, the ARA Group has continued to grow and generate success across our  facility services divisions. With that success, we believe that it is our responsibility to give back to the communities in which we work and live. Contributing to the communities in which ARA operates is fundamental to our company culture.

The ARA Endowment Fund was established in 2009 as a way for the ARA Group and its employees to leave a lasting positive impact on cities, towns and people throughout Australia.

How Charities Are Nominated

ARA staff from around the country nominate a charity of their choice. The Advisory Board of the ARA Endowment Fund, also made up of ARA employees, makes the final decision of the charities to donate to each year based upon the nominations.

The current principal balance of the ARA Endowment Fund is approximately $540,000 after donating $24,000 in financial year 2015 to six nominated charities. Each charity received $4,000. Every contribution helps to grow the fund’s principal balance, and each year, the total interest generated by this balance is donated to a variety of registered Australian charities. Since the Fund will never be drawn from directly, a donation to the ARA Endowment Fund is a gift that will keep giving forever.

The variety of charities assisted by the ARA Endowment Fund makes it a simple, affordable way to support countless communities across Australia.

In an effort to help build the the fund to a greater capacity, we will soon be inviting the Australian community, our clients and network to be a part of this contribution by donating to our fund.
