Justine Clarke will perform 3 exclusive shows at The ARA Darling Quarter Theatre May 24-25

As Principal Partner of Monkey Baa Theatre Company in Sydney’s Darling Harbour precinct, ARA is excited to announce three exclusive shows with Justine Clarke – one of the most recognised and trusted faces on the Australian entertainment landscape.

Justine will be performing a selection of her jazziest songs from across her albums (as well as the hits!) with some of Australia’s finest musicians, to celebrate this dynamic and nuanced form with pre-schoolers.

Event: Jazz Jam with Justine Clarke

Dates: Friday 24th May at 6pm & Saturday 25th May at 10am, 12pm

Location: ARA Darling Quarter Theatre, Terrace 3, 1-25 Harbour Street, Sydney

“Jazz was the first music I heard and sang, and I can’t wait to share my love of it through the songs that your whole family may already know and can certainly enjoy together! And what better place to do it than in Sydney’s most iconic children’s theatre, Monkey Baa, at Darling Harbour, which is in the heart of this year’s Vivid Sydney Festival” – Justine Clarke

The first Jazz Jam performance will take place on Friday 24th May at 6pm, which will coincide with the opening night of Vivid Sydney Festival, the largest festival of light, music and ideas in the southern hemisphere.

ARA will be playing a special role in bringing inclusion to Vivid Lights 2019 through our involvement with the Tumbalong Lights playSPACE inclusive playground, which is set to return to the Darling Harbour precinct this year, adjacent to The ARA Darling Quarter Theatre. We are proud to be partnering with industry leaders Cushman & Wakefield as well as fellow light contributors Minter Ellison, Charter Hall, Suncorp and Westpac to deliver this magical and inclusive playground for the second year in a row.
