The ARA Group is excited to announce our Sponsorship of a young and upcoming Australian Pro Continental Cycling Race Team, now known as ARA Pro Racing Sunshine Coast.

ARA Pro Racing
has a full roster of Men’s and Women’s teams with an impressive race calendar both domestically in Australia as well as overseas in Asia and Europe. ARA Pro Racing is managed by the Australian Cycling Academy (ACA) based at the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC).

As naming rights sponsor the ARA Group will help drive the ACA program with a 3-year presenting partnership, sharing many closely aligned values to the ACA in hard work, community, education & sustainability.

The partnership also supports a new initiative and business unit for the ARA Group – introducing ARA End Of Trip; a business focusing on creating inspiring and energising places for the wellness of people in our cities including facilities such as bike storage and lockers.

The racing roster for both teams will be bolstered significantly with an increased focus on road competition while still holding true to the founding principals of the “Live, Learn, Ride” culture with 11 athletes who now live and train on the Sunshine Coast with 8 studying at the USC.

Our involvement doesn’t just stop with sponsoring the Pro Racing Team; to ensure the longevity of this initiative, we encourage staff, family, and friends to get involved and get behind the teams.

There are many opportunities to view the Pro Racing Team in cities and locations all over Australia. Many of the events will be televised on SBS and other free-to-air stations as well as live streaming on various platforms including SBS and the Global Cycling Network.

In October this year, we will hold our inaugural ARA Charity Ride planned to be based out of the Sunshine Coast raising funds for the ARA Endowment Fund and a specific charity.

All team merchandise will be available soon, as will discounts on bicycles and other gear to help get more people moving and on a road to wellness.

Updates including team social rides that all can join in on will be posted on the ARA Blog, but for the most recent team information and results, follow the ARA Pro Racing Instagram, ARA Pro Racing Supporter Facebook and ACA Cycling Instagram.
