The ARA Group is an Australian, employee-owned company established in 2001 providing some of the largest organisations in Australia and New Zealand with fully-integrated solutions for infrastructure, facilities and asset management clients.

Comprising four complementary divisions and one of the largest 100 privately-owned companies in Australia – ARA ElectricalARA Fire & SecurityARA Property Services, and ARA Products – our teams work seamlessly together to deliver trusted, turnkey solutions – from electrical and security services through to fire protection, building services, energy management, manufacturing, maintenance and cleaning.

Established by founders Edward Federman and Leo Browne with the plan to develop a complementary network of fully integrated infrastructure and facility services, more than 200 employees are ARA shareholders. Growing organically and through strategic acquisitions, the ARA Group today employs more than 3,000 skilled people in more than 50 locations across Australia and New Zealand.

Our executive team is passionately committed to the long-term sustainability and success of the business. As a result, we are committed to manufacturing locally in Australia and New Zealand and have earned our reputation as an employer of choice among our peers.

Since 2001, the ARA Group has gained recognition as an industry leader that is committed to enhancing the scale and quality of offerings, as well as giving back to the communities in which we work and live. Shining examples of this commitment are the ARA Endowment Fund and the ARA Indigenous Services partnership.

It is our hope that together we can create a legacy of support for the communities in which we work and operate.

“Reflecting on ARA’s growth has affirmed our confidence in both our vision and our people. The hard work and collaborative effort of our employees is essential to providing the high level of service our clients require of us.”
